Virtus.pro won the last two rounds to force overtime at 12-12, but FaZe went on to a 19-17 victory. On the second map, Vertigo, Virtus.pro jumped out to an 8-1 lead, but FaZe won 11 of the next 13 rounds to lead 12-10. FaZe Clan won two tightly contested maps to sweep Virtus.pro in the grand final of the Thunderpick World Championship on Sunday.įaZe, which won the $250,000 first prize, broke away from a 10-10 tie on the first map, Ancient, to win 13-10.
